Mary E. Campbell
Mary is a Professor of Sociology and Director of Texas Federal Statistical Research Data Center (TXRDC) at Texas A&M University and Executive Director of the Texas Federal Statistical Research Data Center (TXRDC). Her research focuses on how racial and ethnic categories and inequality are measured, and inequality within and between groups. Her work has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Aging, and has appeared in journals such as the American Sociological Review, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Sociology of Race and Ethnicity, Social Problems, and Social Psychology Quarterly. Her community work includes serving as the Board Chair of the Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network from 2018-2020. From 2004-2012, she was an Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor at the University of Iowa, and she received her Ph.D. in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin.
